What is your favorite part about being a Lady Saddlers Club member?

My favorite part of being a Lady Saddlers Club member is being surrounded by women who share a genuine passion for horses and the equestrian community. It’s such a welcoming and supportive group, and I love getting to connect with people from different backgrounds through a shared love of riding and horses.

What do you love about horseback riding?

What I love most about horseback riding is the partnership and trust you build with the horse. Horses force you to be fully present, and there’s something incredibly grounding about that. Riding has always been one of the few places where my mind quiets down and I can focus completely on the moment. It’s equal parts discipline, connection, and joy.

What is your favorite equestrian event?

One of my favorite equestrian events is the Washington International Horse Show. I love that it brings top-level sport to the DMV and creates an atmosphere where longtime horse people and newcomers can experience the excitement of the equestrian world together.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever received is: “You don’t have to have everything figured out to move forward.” So many opportunities in life come from being willing to start before you feel completely ready, and that mindset has pushed me to take chances, grow, and trust myself more.
