What is your favorite part about being a Lady Saddlers Club member?

I love being part of a group of women who all share a passion for horses. Even though we all come from different backgrounds and experiences, that shared love connects us. It’s such a special community where we can attend events together, dress up, ride, and support the mission of the Lady Saddlers Club while building meaningful friendships along the way.

What do you love about horseback riding?

Horseback riding was a big part of my childhood and something that deeply connects me to my mom. There’s something incredibly freeing about being on a horse and out on a ride. For me, it was never about competition or sport, it’s about connection, peace, and the feeling of freedom that comes with it.

What is your favorite equestrian event?

Trail rides are my favorite. There’s something so peaceful and adventurous about riding through different landscapes and simply enjoying the journey. I’m especially excited for an upcoming globetrotting riding trip next year where I’ll spend a week riding from one destination to another, it feels like the ultimate horseback adventure.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Be true to yourself. Trust your instincts, your values, and find the courage to live fully. Life is short and precious, and it’s important not to let fear or self-doubt hold you back. As women, we often wear so many hats, mom, wife, employee, sister, friend but it’s just as important to remember who you are. Give yourself permission to grow, explore, and truly live for yourself too.
